Simply put, we could not have had our wedding without Mary. She was so responsive, helpful and kind. She provided multiple consultations before the day of our wedding that helped us think through all of the details and then on the day of wedding, her execution was flawless. I didn't need to worry about anything because I fully trusted that Mary had it all under control. She's always willing to go above and beyond and she was also a ton of fun to interact with and be around. Everyone in our families and all of our friends who interacted with Mary were so impressed. Mary was absolutely incredible and such an integral part of our day! Getting married at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, Va necessitates logistical coordination for vendors, setup/breakdown, and guest arrivals/departures, and Mary seamlessly coordinated everything and everybody like a true professional! Her ability to take care of all the small details (picking up things from us from the hotel prior to the Torpedo Factory rental began, putting programs on chairs, ensuring tables were labeled correctly, and cocktail hour/bar set up were correct) and I'm sure countless other things we weren't privy to was absolutely critical ! We cannot recommend Mary highly enough and are so grateful for her key role in making for a perfect wedding day for us.

Planning a long distance wedding from the West Coast to be had in Maryland was almost stress free ! LOL!! Mary was always availableand quickly responded to our emails. Very easygoing and positive, gave great ideas and advice while going along with our wishes too! The ceremony was on family property and having Mary there hours beforehand and throughout the reception allowed the families and bride & groom to relax and enjoy the day! No Worries! We LOVE Mary and highly recommend her ..... in fact you'd be foolish not to hire her!

We loved working with Mary! She knew our venue (Historic London Town) like the back of her hand, so it made it so much easier to handle all of the ins and outs leading up to our wedding and on the day of. Mary was such a lifesaver for us, helping us think through the setup of the event, planning our rehearsal to make sure we knew what we were doing, and corralling our vendors in line with our planned schedule. Whatever we needed from Mary, she was willing to do, and always with a huge smile. This included taking care of the clean-up of the decor items we brought to the venue, and even meeting us a couple days later to pass off things that couldn't fit in our car. Would work with Mary again if given the chance!

My husband and I hired Mary as our Day of Coordinator for our wedding this past July. Mary absolutely loves this type of work and stayed in constant communication with us about personal items that she owns that she could bring and use at the wedding free of charge. She even made a trip out to our home to meet us in person! On the day of, she did a wonderful job helping my family and friends with the decorations, as it was a very DIY wedding. Mary is so sweet and loving, as well as great at what she does. We would highly recommend her again :)

Mary really helped make our wedding day go off without a hitch! She was so incredibly supportive of all of our ideas when we first started talking, and checked in a lot along the way. We had our wedding in a park on a limited budget, so we had to bring in a lot of our own stuff, and Mary got it all there, and helped set everything up logically. She even had some of her own supplies she let us use. She made sure the day flowed smoothly so we could really enjoy ourselves and not worry. Mary is the perfect wedding coordinator. She is very genuine and very in tune to every detail. My wedding day was stress free because she managed 180 guests and my entire bridal party along with other vendors. She was sensitive to the time and she provided agendas at each meeting. She went the distance at my wedding and truely sacrificed to be at meetings including the wedding rehearsal. I couldn't have ask for anyone better. She was humble, engaged actively, and made decisions for the better. She even provided additional details that could make my ceromony more romantic and meaningful. I used MJM Events to bartend for a recent large shower I hosted for my daughter and they were excellent in all phases from pre-party planning and beginning with signature drink selection and providing shopping lists. Mary was fantastic to work with - she arrived early to set-up and even brought extra equipment in case we also may have needed additional items for the food service aspect. Due to inclement weather people arrived later and stayed later and Mary stayed an hour later than she was scheduled to and was so helpful with flawless execution from beginning to end. My party was a huge success with the help of MJM Events so I highly recommend this company and I'll definitely use them and and Mary again!

We were thrilled with our experience with Mary. I was initially not sure we needed a day-of wedding coordinator - I was not only wrong, but made the perfect choice with Mary. In terms of planning, she enthusiastically supported the ideas I already had and offered ideas where needed. She made available many decor items to bring, which was a HUGE help. The day of, everything was set up and taken down as planned, and Mary was a helpful presence throughout the event. Mary's responsiveness was great, both leading up to the wedding, and the day after. I needed to track down some missing items the next day (including a family member's phone) and Mary instantly knew who to ask/where to look. Mary knows her craft - definitely recommend her service!

Mary made our wedding HAPPEN! She was friendly, patient and provided so much guidance to two kids in love who had no idea how to plan a wedding. No question was stupid and no text went unanswered. She helped with mock-ups, rehearsals, set up, break down and everything in between. She did whatever needed to be done the day of. All problems were solved without the bride ever knowing anything was wrong at all - and there were barely any, because Mary is an incredible professional who foresaw and staved off all issues within her control! She was respectful and kind to all of our guests and I'm so, so glad we got to share our day with her.
